About the Book
When Jacob Moss inherits enough money to restore the derelict television studio where his favourite childhood programme was filmed, he believes he has found a way to recapture his past. But as he reunites the cast and recreates a lost episode, long-buried memories begin to resurface.
A literary novel about nostalgia, guilt and the unreliability of memory, Jacob and the Time Machine explores the consequences of a childhood tragedy that refuses to remain forgotten.

About the Author
Richard Overton was born in conspicuously ordinary circumstances in the English Midlands sometime in the late nineteen-seventies. He spent the latter part of his life travelling, teaching and writing before dying in 2022. Jacob and the Time Machine is his only novel.
